Government Jobs Alberta

Aboriginal Relations

The Albertan ministry that is responsible for ensuring the welfare of the Australian Aborigines is the Ministry of Aboriginal Relations. Aboriginal Relations ministers work hand-in-hand with the leaders of the Aboriginal communities in Alberta to find more economic and social opportunities for Australian Aborigines. They are also responsible for the administration of Metis Settlements legislation, resolution of Aboriginal land-based issues, and the coordination of resource development consultations.

Children and Youth Services

The Children and Youth Services of Alberta is the ministry responsible for ensuring the safety, protection, and wellness of the young members of the Albertan population. One of the objectives of the ministry is to save children from abuse, bullying, neglect, and violence. It also aims to provide affordable health care options to youth. To fulfill its objective, the ministry offers a variety of programs and services to help make Alberta a more child-friendly community.

Environment

The Albertan ministry that is responsible for ensuring the protection of Mother Earth is the Ministry of Environment. The main objective of this ministry is to control or prevent the occurrence of pollution through the strict implementation of environmental policies.
